Birthing simulator Prompt Flex
Design improvements and additional functionality have been incorporated to set a new benchmark for a task trainer of its kind. Combining anatomical accuracy and features which include a cervix and birth canal, this product provides the ideal training solution for all skills relating to routine and difficult deliveries.
As the title of this product suggests, PROMPT Flex offers a truly flexible system - a design which addresses the equal need for stand-alone bench top use, or the integration into hybrid simulation using SPs (Simulated Patients); as well as the addition of modules that extend its use for cervical assessment, performing a cesarean section and post-partum bleeding.
The force monitoring component is now available as a wireless solution, using Bluetooth technology combined with software which is compatible with PC, Mac, iOS and Android. Tablets as well as PCs can be used to run the software which records traction applied to the baby's head, as well as interventions and time to deliver baby. Results recorded can be reviewed by the tutor and used as a debriefing tool.
